Honda Racing RedMoto Dominates 2025 Enduro Italian Championship Opener
Thrilling start to the 2025 Enduro season in Colliano!
Podium Success for Honda Racing RedMoto Team
The 2025 Enduro season kicked off in style with Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team taking center stage at the first round of the Assoluti d’Italia in Colliano. Over two action-packed race days, riders Steve Holcombe (CRF300RX Enduro), Samuele Bernardini (CRF250RX Enduro), and Manolo Morettini (CRF300RX Enduro) showcased outstanding performances.
Steve Holcombe’s Supertest Victory and Epic Battles
Holcombe set the fastest time in Friday night’s Supertest, ahead of Ahlin and Le Quere, and continued to impress throughout the weekend. His fierce competition with Verona and Pichon saw him finish second on Saturday and third on Sunday, securing two P2 finishes in the foreign rider standings.
Bernardini Shines in the 250 4T Class
Samuele Bernardini had a strong and improving performance, finishing fifth overall and second in the 250 4T class on Saturday. On Sunday, he claimed a fourth overall and a first-place win in the 250 4T class, defeating Lesiardo. A great start to his championship campaign!
Double Podium for Morettini
Manolo Morettini also had an exceptional weekend, taking two second-place finishes in the 450 class. He delivered consistently fast lap times, finishing just behind Moroni on Saturday and Verona on Sunday.
Thomas Oldrati missed the race as he continues to recover from knee surgery. Despite his progress, the race was too demanding given his limited training time.
Matteo Boffelli, Honda Racing RedMoto’s team manager, praised the team’s efforts:
“A good start to the season after a productive winter of preparation. The new 2025 bikes, both 250 and 300, proved to be highly competitive. Now we look forward to the next round in less than 15 days.”
