Born in 1993, Matteo Boffelli took part in his first enduro races at the age of 16 with the KTM of Chicco Piana’s GP Motorsport team, sharing the passion of his father Giuseppe and friend Thomas Oldrati. It was his friendship with Oldrati that prompted Boffelli to leave racing in 2013, to follow Oldrati as a technician in his spare time. In 2015 he decided to create Team BBM and in 2018 to link up with Egidio Motta’s Honda-RedMoto, with a partnership that has now lasted five years.
