Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team on the podium at the Swedish GP with Bernardini

EnduroGP Sweden 2025: Honda RedMoto Racing riders in action— Morettini, Bernardini, Blanjoue in action at the Swedish round

The third round of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship in Sweden delivered key takeaways for the Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team, who went back home with a well-earned podium finish thanks to Samuele Bernardini’s performance on Saturday, along with valuable insights for the upcoming rounds. On an extremely technical and demanding course, the riders showed great determination, tackling one of the toughest races of the season with grit and focus.

In the E1 class, Samuele Bernardini demonstrated consistent progress and strong determination. After a slow start on Saturday, the Tuscan rider responded well, improving lap after lap and securing a well-deserved third place. On Sunday, in a tightly contested race with minimal time gaps, Bernardini narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth, just seconds away from the top three.

In the E2 class, Manolo Morettini finished ninth on both days. Despite facing some challenges, his times remained close to the front-runners, confirming the high level of competitiveness in the class.

Riding the Honda CRF 300 RX Enduro of the injured Steve Holcombe, Hugo Blanjoue lined up for his second World Championship race of the season, despite dealing with an arm injury suffered during training. Focused on continuing his adaptation to the bike, he managed a solid eighth place on Saturday in E2, but was unfortunately forced to retire on Sunday after the first lap due to severe pain.

Two tough days. I couldn’t find the right feeling with the special tests or ride the way I wanted. The terrain was tricky, with lots of rocks and roots, which aren’t my strong suit. Head down now. We focus on the next race. Thanks to the whole team for the great work.

It was a fairly positive weekend. Sunday went better than Saturday, even though the special tests became more difficult. Thanks to the team for the amazing effort. See you at Italian Championship.

This Grand Prix has been a really tough one for me. Two weeks ago, I had a crash and injured my arm, but I didn’t want to have any regrets, so I decided to race this weekend. Yesterday was a positive day, despite many crashes. Unfortunately, today I wasn’t able to finish the race because of the pain. It’s not the result I was hoping for, but sometimes you’ve got to listen to your body. Now it’s time to recover, regroup and come back stronger.
