Faced with scorching temperatures and extremely dusty conditions, the fourth round of the Assoluti d’Italia in Pianello Val Tidone, marked Samuele Bernardini‘s return to competition this weekend.
With two second-place finishes in the 250 4-Stroke class, “Berna” was back where he belongs among the front riders of the Italian Enduro Championship. An encouraging result that will boost his confidence following his shoulder injury, ahead of the next round of the EnduroGP World Championship in Saint-Agrève, France.
Following an impressive second overall finish at the European Championship the previous weekend, Thomas Oldrati once again proved his consistency in the Assoluti d’Italia 450 class. Third on Saturday and second on Sunday, he secured second place overall for the weekend. Another podium finish for our team captain.
Max Ahlin delivered the team’s strongest overall performance of the weekend. After setting the fifth-fastest time in the Super Test, he maintained that position in Saturday’s overall standings following a solid day of racing, while also claiming third place in the Stranieri category. Max continued to impress on Sunday, finishing seventh overall and fifth in the foreign riders category. A very promising performance in such tough summer conditions.
Finally, Valentino Corsi narrowly missed out on an overall podium for the weekend. Finishing fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday in the Junior class, he also claimed a Top 10 overall time in Saturday’s Cross Test, once again showcasing his impressive speed.
Attention now turns to the EnduroGP of France in Saint-Agrève, the sixth and penultimate round of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship.
