The 2025 season of the Enduro Italian Championship came to a close in Sant’Angelo in Vado (Pesaro Urbino), with the fifth and final round successfully hosted by Moto Club Tonino Benelli.
It was an intense weekend of racing on technical, demanding, and spectacular special tests, delivering excitement and drama right up to the very last stage. At the end of the showdown, Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team wrapped up the national championship with two Italian Vice-Champion titles, thanks to strong performances from Manolo Morettini and Samuele Bernardini.
The team lined up for the final round with just two riders, as Thomas Oldrati was forced to sit out due to a contusion on his left leg, previously injured and surgically treated, sustained during training. In agreement with the team, he opted to withdraw as a precaution.
Morettini delivered an outstanding performance in the fiercely competitive 450 4T class. With two impressive second-place finishes over the weekend, just behind the blisteringly fast Andrea Verona, Morettini showcased speed, determination, and grit. His results secured him second overall in the standings and earned him the 2025 Italian Vice-Champion title in the 450 4T category.
In the 250 4T class, Bernardini came heartbreakingly close to clinching the title. On Saturday, he finished second after a thrilling head-to-head battle with Lesiardo, winning seven special tests and consistently placing in the top three. On Sunday, while still in contention for both the win and the championship, he was forced to retire during the final special test due to a rear wheel issue caused by impact with a log. Despite the unfortunate ending, Bernardini finishes the season second overall in the 250 4T standings, securing the team’s second Vice-Champion title of the season.
With two national runner-up titles and double final podiums, Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team reaffirms itself among the top contenders and looks ahead with focus and determination to the next challenges.
Matteo Boffelli, Team Manager
“It was a tough and emotional season finale. We came very close to taking the top step of the podium in two classes, and both Manolo and Samuele gave everything they had. Their results speak for the great work done by the whole team throughout the year. We’re proud of these two Vice-Champion titles, even though we always aim higher. Now we look forward to the next GPs with even more motivation.”
