8 podiums for Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team at Italian GP. This weekend, the WPT Global FIM EnduroGP World Championship got back to business with the GP of Italy, visiting the picturesque countryside surrounding Carpineti. The Moto Club Crostolo ASD pulled out all the stops to ensure a thrilling third round of the series, with a hard-fought race and high temperatures. Days one and two saw riders tackle three laps of a 55-kilometer, starting from the Super Test, the Enduro Test of over 10 minutes, and the Extreme Test among rocks before reaching the Cross Test of about 4 minutes.
Once again, Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team shone with the entire line-up led by Matteo Boffelli, hitting the top three in all classes on both race days, adding one amazing overall podium. In E2 class, an extraordinary Nathan Watson finished third on Saturday, while on Sunday second and third in the EnduroGP after coming close to the podium on the first day with the fourth position. Second in Friday’s Super Test, once again Thomas Oldrati put in a majestic performance, finishing third on Saturday and second on Sunday in E1 class. Excellent results in the EnduroGP too, where he missed the top three on Sunday, while on Saturday he finished sixth. The double podium is also for Roni Kytonen, author of a great growth with Honda RedMoto. The Finnish was second on Saturday in J1 and in the Junior Overall, finishing second also on Sunday, missing another Overall podium.
Now no break: the WPTGlobal FIM EnduroGP World Championship moves to Portugal for the fourth round of the season.

“I did well on Saturday with the second position in the Junior overall. On Sunday I crashed in the first enduro test losing a lot of seconds: I tried to make up positions and in the end I finished close to the podium. The riding feeling is good and I’m looking forward to the next race in Portugal”.

Un Gran Premio d’Italia dalle mille emozioni quello andato in scena questo weekend a Carpineti (RE). Una gara bella, impegnativa, caldissima, con temperature che hanno superato i 40°, organizzata dal Moto Club Crostolo su un percorso caratterizzato da ben quattro prove speciali: partenza dal Supertest, Enduro Test di oltre 10 minuti tra i boschi emiliani, Extreme Test tra rocce e sottobosco e infine cross test di circa 4 minuti. Sulla scia dei successi nei precedenti GP, Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team ha nuovamente brillato con tutta la formazione guidata da Matteo Boffelli, centrando la top three in tutte le classi in entrambe le giornate di gara, a cui si aggiunge un bellissimo podio assoluto.
Nella E2 uno straordinario Nathan Watson ha chiuso terzo sabato, mentre domenica secondo di classe e terzo nella EnduroGP dopo aver sfiorato il podio il primo giorno con il quarto miglior tempo assoluto. Autore del secondo miglior tempo nel Super Test di venerdì sera, ancora una volta Thomas Oldrati ha messo a segno una prestazione maiuscola, facendo sua la terza posizione sabato e la seconda domenica nella E1. Ottimo risultato anche nella EnduroGP, dove ha mancato di pochissimo la top three domenica, mentre sabato ha chiuso sesto. Doppietta anche per Roni Kytonen, autore di una crescita concreta con Honda RedMoto. Il finlandese sabato ha chiuso secondo nella J1 e nella Junior Assoluta, facendo sua la seconda posizione anche domenica mancando di pochissimo un altro podio Assoluto.
Ora niente pausa: il WPTGlobal FIM EnduroGP World Championship si sposta in Portogallo per il quarto round della stagione.
