Everything is ready for a new season full of news and great emotions.
This weekend the Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team challenge for the 2021 season will officially start with the opening round of the Italian Championship, scheduled on Sunday in Passirano, near Brescia.
After the intense work done in the winter months and in recent weeks in Sicily, the team is ready to face this new challenge.
Thomas Oldrati will unfortunately be absent. Ready to make his debut in the 450 4T class with great ambitions after getting his 10th Italian title in 2020 by winning the 250 4T class, he has recently undergone surgery on his right hand. He is already following a specific rehabilitation program and aims to be at the start of the Assoluti d’Italia in the round in Sicily.
Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team will be on track with the French rider Theo Espinasse and the young Finnish Roni Kytonen, who will race with the CRF 250RX Enduro in the class reserved to the foreigner.
On the other hand, the World Championship will start in June. Oldrati will move to the E2 after being ruler of the E1 in 2020. Espinasse, the vice Junior World Champion and second in the Junior EJ2 in 2020, this year he will debut in the E1 class. Kytonen will still compete in the Junior class after winning the EJ1 in 2020 and finishing third in the Junior Overall.

“I’ve been training hard over the winter, but unfortunately in mid-February I injured my right thumb and won’t be able to take part in the first race of the season. After two years in the 250 class, this year I’ll be back in the 450 4-stroke class: I’m happy with this choice and I’m confident to reach new goals. The bike is different from the one I rode last year, but the feeling on the CRF 450RX has been excellent from the very first moment. I will fight to be a ruler!”

Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team pronti per la nuova stagione 2021
Tutto è pronto per una stagione ricca di novità e grandi emozioni.
La sfida di Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team per la stagione 2021 partirà ufficialmente questo weekend con il round inaugurale degli Assoluti d’Italia, in programma domenica 7 marzo a Passirano (BS), in Franciacorta.
Una sfida a cui il team arriva carico e motivato, forte dell’intenso lavoro svolto nei mesi invernali e nelle ultime settimane in Sicilia.
Grande assente del fine settimana sarà purtroppo Thomas Oldrati. Pronto a debuttare nella classe 450 4T con grandi ambiziosi dopo aver conquistato nel 2020 il 10° titolo italiano degli Assoluti vincendo la 250 4T, il pilota di Sorisole si è recentemente sottoposto a un piccolo intervento alla mano destra. Già al lavoro per la riabilitazione con fisioterapia specifica, ha lavorato intensamente durante l’inverno e punta a essere al via degli Assoluti d’Italia nel round in Sicilia.
A portare alti i colori di Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team saranno il francese Theo Espinasse e il giovane finlandese Roni Kytonen, che gareggeranno con le CRF 250RX Enduro nella classe riservata agli stranieri.
A giugno prenderà il via anche il Mondiale: dopo esser stato grande protagonista della E1, quest’anno Oldrati passerà alla E2; Espinasse, vice iridato Junior Assoluto e secondo della Junior EJ2 nel 2020, debutterà nella classe E1; Kytonen gareggerà sempre nella classe Junior dopo avere vinto nel 2020 la EJ1 e concluso terzo nell’Assoluta Junior.

“Mi sono allenato duramente nel corso dell’inverno ed ero carico per cominciare, ma purtroppo a metà febbraio mi sono infortunato il pollice destro e non potrò partecipare alla gara di Passirano.
Tornerò a gareggiare nella classe 450 4T dopo due anni nella 250, sono contento di mettermi di nuovo in gioco e sono fiducioso di poter raggiungere nuovi grandi traguardi. La moto è differente da quella guidata gli scorsi anni, ma il feeling in sella alla CRF 450RX è stato ottimo sin dal primo istante. Lotterò per essere protagonista anche in questa classe!”
