Promising Start to the Season in the Assoluti d’Italia Enduro Championship

Assoluti d’Italia - Viareggio

The 2026 season kicked off in Viareggio with an excellent performance from the team, which lined up four riders and secured three podium finishes over the weekend.

The two race days offered very different conditions. Saturday was raced under sunny skies, while Sunday began with rain before the weather improved. However, the damage had already been done, and the Extreme Test quickly became as challenging and technical as in previous editions.

On Friday evening, Thomas Oldrati delivered an impressive performance during the beach Super Test, setting the 5th fastest time and showcasing the power and speed of the Honda 450 RX.

Samuele Bernardini demonstrated outstanding consistency throughout the weekend, finishing second in the 250 4-stroke category on both days. A true benchmark in the class, Bernardini was once again battling closely with Lesiardo. Determined to reclaim victory in a category where he has already proven his strength, Samuele continues to shine aboard his team-prepared 250 RX.

Young junior rider Valentino Corsi secured a well-deserved podium on Sunday after finishing fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday. Continuing to adapt to his new machine, Corsi showed great focus and determination. Despite the minimal gap to his closest rival, he managed to hold his position and was rewarded with a strong overall podium for the weekend.

Max Ahlin was the team’s fastest rider in the overall Scratch classification. Competing in the highly competitive Foreign category, he finished 5th and 6th across the two days. Consistent and determined, Ahlin continues to close the gap to the category leaders and is steadily moving closer to the front.

Finally, “El Professor” Thomas Oldrati also secured a podium finish in the 450 category, taking third place both for the day and overall for the weekend. Always highly effective on track, Oldrati also plays a key role within the team by mentoring younger riders such as Ahlin and Corsi. In addition to delivering strong results, he contributes significantly to developing the next generation of talent.

It was an excellent weekend of racing to open the season, featuring a demanding and intense course that became particularly tricky on Sunday morning. The event concluded with a spectacular beach finish in front of a passionate crowd of fans.

The team will now turn its attention to the next round, which will take place in Pomarance on March 27–29.
