Thrilling weekend for Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team with the fourth and final round of the Enduro Italian Championship in Arma di Taggia, in Liguria.
The team led by Matteo Boffelli won the 250 4 stroke class title with an unbeatable Thomas Oldrati. He arrived at this final round as leader of his class with the Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro and needed two victories to get the title: so it was. He won both the days, conquering his 10th Italian title after those won in 2006-2007-2008 in 125 2 stroke class, in 2013-2014 in E1, in 2017 in E3 and in 2010-2011-2019 in 250 4 stroke class. To these are added the ones in 50cc Cadets class won in 2005 and in 125 2 stroke Cadets class in 2006. But that’s not all, because in Arma di Taggia Thomas conquered two amazing podiums in the Overall too, finishing third and second, 4 seconds from the victory. A total supremacy with incredible numbers. In 4 races he gets 38 first and 43 second places in the 250 4 stroke class; 8 first, 11 second and 11 third places in the Overall.
Podium for the English Daniel McCanney too, 5th and 3rd in the ranking reserved to foreigners. 11th and 10th the Finnish Roni Kytonen.

Thomas Oldrati conquista con Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team il 10° Titolo Italiano
Un fine settimana all’insegna del trionfo per Honda-RedMoto World Enduro Team. In un super finale di stagione, nella quarta e ultima tappa dei Campionati Assoluti d’Italia, andata in scena questo weekend ad Arma di Taggia (IM).
La squadra diretta da Matteo Boffelli ha conquistato il titolo della 250 4T insieme a un insuperabile Thomas Oldrati. Arrivato a questo appuntamento finale in qualità di leader della sua classe con la Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro, al pilota delle Fiamme Oro servivano due vittorie per confermarsi campione, e così è stato. Senza riserve, Oldrati si è nuovamente imposto con una straordinaria doppietta, vincendo entrambe le giornate di gara e mettendo così un sigillo d’autorità sui suoi vent’anni di carriera nell’enduro. Si tratta infatti del suo decimo titolo italiano dopo quelli conquistati nel 2006-2007-2008 nella 125 2T, nel 2013-2014 nella E1, nel 2017 nella E3 e nel 2010-2011-2019 nella 250 4T. A questi si aggiungono anche quello Cadetti 50cc vinto nel 2005 e quello Cadetti 125 2T vinto nel 2006. Ma non è tutto, perché ad Arma di Taggia Thomas ha anche conquistato due bellissimi podi nell’Assoluta con una terza e una seconda posizione, sfiorando la vittoria per soli 4 secondi. Una supremazia totale, in questa stagione caratterizzata da numeri impressionanti. Sulle 4 prove disputate ha registrato ben 38 prime posizioni e 43 secondi posti nella 250 4T; 8 primi, 11 secondi e 11 terzi posti nella Assoluta.
Bellissimo podio anche per l’inglese Daniel McCanney, che dopo la 5° posizione del sabato, domenica ha chiuso 3° nella classifica riservata agli stranieri. Top ten sfiorata con una 11° e una 10° posizione per il finlandese Roni Kytonen.

“Sono davvero molto contento, perché sono state due giornate di gara difficili: ero leader, ma comunque avevo solo 6 punti di vantaggio. È stata una bella battaglia: dovevo vincere e ho centrato l’obiettivo. Bella la sfida anche nell’Assoluta con i due inglesi Holcombe e Freeman. In questa stagione sono stato sempre davanti, è andata alla grande. Ringrazio la squadra, le Fiamme Oro, la mia fidanzata e il mio preparatore Balboni. Ora qualche giorno di riposo e poi ci aspettano gli ultimi due appuntamenti Mondiali.”
