The fifth round of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship took place in Vila de Rei, Portugal, replacing the event originally scheduled in France.
Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team arrived at the start line with great momentum, fresh from the recent triumph of Samuele Bernardini and Manolo Morettini with the Italian Maglia Azzurra at the FIM Six Days in Bergamo.

Competing in E1, Bernardini showed excellent pace on Saturday, consistently close to the front. He finished the day in fourth place, with steady top-five times and an impressive second-fastest result in the fourth special test. Unfortunately, his Sunday race was affected by a crash that cost him precious seconds, eventually closing the day in eighth position. The race was also shortened due to a wildfire along the liaison section.
In E2, Morettini confirmed his steady progress with seventh place on both days. Results that further strengthen his experience and confidence ahead of the season’s final two rounds.
Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team will be back in action in two weeks’ time for the Italian Grand Prix in Boario Terme, the eagerly awaited home round and a special event for the whole squad.
Samuele Bernardini #23
A good race with strong results both in class and EnduroGP. The feeling wasn’t perfect, but we finished a solid weekend. Huge thanks to the team for their support!
Manolo Morettini #38
A fairly positive weekend. I had a good start on Saturday but lost a few spots on the final lap. On Sunday, I managed to keep a solid pace and finish strong. Thanks to the team! Now it’s full focus on the Six Days.
