From Estonia to Sweden. This weekend Honda RedMoto World Enduro Team moved from Saaremaa Island to Skövde for the fourth round of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship.
Once more, a race with high temperatures, 18 long and technical special tests on a sandy ground and undergrowth, with an Enduro Test followed by the Cross Test and the Extreme Test, plus the Supertest of Thursday evening.
Rony Kytonen missed the race due to a fracture of the left peroneal malleolus during the Estonian GP’s first day.
Back to the competition only a week ago with the Estonia GP, Thomas Oldrati rode another good race, trying to do his best after the injuries suffered in the first part of the season. On Friday, he finished 6th close to the E2 top five with a good pace, while 7th on Saturday and 11th in the Overall.
The second race in the World Championship for Theo Espinasse, back to the races in Estonia after the injury to his left collarbone. He finished 9th on Saturday and 8th on Sunday, there are very good signs of an upswing, we look forward to the next races.

Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team conclude positivamente il quarto round del Mondiale EnduroGP in Svezia
Dall’Estonia alla Svezia. Niente pausa per Honda RedMoto World Enduro Team che, dopo la gara sull’isola di Saaremaa, questo fine settimana si è spostato nel nord Europa, precisamente nella cittadina di Skövde per il quarto round del Campionato Mondiale FIM EnduroGP.
Ancora una gara caratterizzata dalle alte temperature nonostante la latitudine, per un totale di 18 prove speciali lunghe e tecniche, tra fondo sabbioso e sottobosco, con un Enduro Test a cui seguiva il Cross Test e l’Extreme Test, a cui si aggiunge il Supertest di giovedì sera.
Assente alla trasferta svedese Rony Kytonen per la frattura del malleolo peroneale del piede sinistro accusata durante la prima giornata del GP di Estonia.
Rientrato in gara solo una settimana fa con il GP di Estonia, Thomas Oldrati ha corso un’altra prova regolare, cercando di fare del suo meglio dopo gli infortuni subiti nella prima parte della stagione. Con un ottimo ritmo, il pilota delle Fiamme Oro venerdì ha sfiorato la top five della E2 chiudendo in 6° posizione, mentre sabato 7° di classe e 11° nell’Assoluta.
Seconda prova iridata nella E1 per Theo Espinasse, anche lui rientrato in gara in Estonia dopo l’infortunio alla clavicola sinistra accusata in un allenamento prima dell’inizio della stagione. Il suo è stato un fine settimana senza troppe pretese, con la 9° piazza sabato e la 8° domenica.
Seconda gara nel Mondiale classe E1 anche per James Scott: il New Zelandese è stato autore di buoni tempi, concludendo 11° e 10°.

“Gara difficile! Le speciali erano veramente molto scavate e si rischiava molto. Venerdì non sono riuscito a prendere un buon ritmo, ma ho chiuso bene.
