Rainy Supertest, technical Scandinavian tests: welcome to Vierumaki

Tough conditions in Finland highlight strong performances from Bernardini, Ahlin and Corsi in a hard-fought EnduroGP Round 3

The Finnish forests had been waiting three years for the return of EnduroGP, and this weekend, it finally happened in Vierumäki.

A fantastic battle unfolded across the typically Scandinavian technical special tests, combining rainy conditions, impressive elevation changes, and tricky terrain.

Our three riders had to work hard to hold their positions and perform on this third round of the EnduroGP World Championship. From the challenging Super Test on Friday evening, the rain showed no mercy, creating a spectacular show for the large crowd in attendance.

Samuele Bernardini was clearly ready to race this weekend, setting the 3rd fastest time in the E1 category during the Super Test, just like Max Ahlin, who also secured the 3rd fastest time in E2.

Valentino Corsi faced more difficulties during this particularly demanding Grand Prix. A 10th place finish in J1 on Saturday, followed by a 5th place on Sunday, again in J1, meant his best result was 13th overall in the Junior scratch classification on Sunday. Mistakes are costly at a Grand Prix of this level, but Valentino continues to learn and gain valuable experience.

Max Ahlin secured two 4th place finishes in the E2 category, once again just outside the podium positions, only 7 seconds away from 3rd place on Sunday. His unwavering determination is paying off, and we know it is only a matter of time before he steps onto that podium.

Samuele Bernardini, our E1 rider, finished 4th on Saturday and 6th on Sunday. Setting Top 3 category times throughout the first day, Samuele has shown his determination to fight his way back onto the E1 podium.

The difficult and distinctly Scandinavian conditions put both teams and riders in the EnduroGP World Championship to the test.

Join us again in mid-June for two more races in Fafe, Portugal.
