The 2024 season keeps on with the second round of the Enduro Italian Championship in Caltanissetta, Sicily.

Strong start for Steve Holcombe, brilliant winner of Friday’s Super Test with a lap of 1’49”680 at the end of a head-to-head battle with Freeman. Despite a promising start, the English rider was not fully at ease on the Sicilian terrain, finishing with two P3 in the foreigners’ classification and two P4 in the Overall, just a step away from the podium.

Excellent return to racing for Thomas Oldrati after the injury of one month ago to the cruciate ligament in his left knee during a training session. He conquered one 2nd position and one victory in the 250 4T class, and the top ten of the Overall at the end of day 2.
Double P2 in the 450 class and double top five in the Overall for Samuele Bernardini. Close to the podium in Friday’s Super Test, in the race he showed an excellent pace that confirms him among the best national and international riders.
Tough weekend for Manolo Morettini, who suffered an intestinal virus on Friday night. On Saturday he tried to finish the race, but was forced to the withdraw; while on Sunday he redeemed himself with a great P3 in the Junior class.
Double win for Francesca Nocera, who ruled the women’s class.
