Heat, dust and extreme special tests in Fafe

A hard-fought weekend in Fafe for the team as Max Ahlin closes in on the E2 podium and Valentino Corsi secures a strong third place in J1 at EnduroGP Portugal

Typical Portuguese conditions marked this first week in Fafe, with heat, dust and steep elevation changes putting both riders and teams to the test.

The stage was set from Friday evening’s Super Test, where Max Ahlin immediately showed his determination by posting the 4th fastest overall time. Consistent and solid as always, he finished 4th in the E2 category on both race days. A true metronome throughout the weekend, Max came within just 20 seconds of the podium on Sunday. Race after race, he continues to close the gap to the front-runners and confirms his steady progression.

Samuele’s weekend was cut short on Saturday after only two special tests due to an electrical issue caused by a blown fuse on his 250 RX. However, he bounced back on Sunday with a 7th-place finish in the E1 category. A brand-new event awaits him next weekend, offering a great opportunity to improve on that result.

In the Junior category, Valentino Corsi secured a podium finish in J1 on Sunday with an impressive 3rd place. Setting seven top-three stage times out of the nine special tests contested, he demonstrated excellent pace on the rough and demanding Portuguese terrain.

Similar conditions await the riders again this weekend in Fafe, with three new special tests, fresh liaison sections and untouched loops. Everything is in place for our riders to bounce back and continue delivering strong performances.
