Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team wins with Morettini and Nocera

The stage was set for the main show on Saturday and Sunday in Spoleto, with the awaited third round of the Enduro Italian Championship.

A weekend full of emotions for Honda Racing RedMoto Enduro Team with podiums, victories and the bad news of Oldrati’s injury.

During the last special test of day 1, Thomas fell hard and broke the right tibia and fibula. The race was interrupted and after first aid and investigations by the local medical staff, he was transferred to Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo. On Saturday night he underwent a first surgery to fix the fracture and will undergo further surgery in the coming days. The whole team would like to thank the riders and teams who gave their support, Dr. Gabriele Bazzan, Dr. Ferdinando Lorini and the whole staff of the hospital in Bergamo.

Double victory in the women’s category for Francesca Nocera. She took the first step of the podium in both days, setting excellent times in all the special test. Thanks to an constant pace, she firmly maintained the leadership ahead of Traini.
Positive weekend also for Manolo Morettini, great performer in the Junior class. He won on Saturday, while on Sunday he finished 2nd.
The weekend started in the best way for Samuele Bernardini, thanks to the excellent top 5 in Friday Supertest. His weekend continued with two amazing second positions and the 5th overall position on Saturday.
Steve Holcombe took the Overall podium on both race days, with P2 on Saturday and P3 on Sunday. He also finished twice second in the foreign standings.
