Another exciting Sunday for Honda RedMoto World Enduro Team, ruler of the fifth round of the Enduro Italian Championship. The race in Ceva, near Cuneo, had 3 laps of 51 km each: from the start, competitors first headed to the Cross Test of 4,5 km, then the Extreme Test of 2,5 km, and onto the first Time Check before the last Enduro Test of 6.5 km.
Amazing race for Nathan Watson. The British rider was magnificent, taking the second step of the podium in the Overall – behind an uncatchable Verona – and winning the foreign class. Among the best throughout the day, Thomas Oldrati lost the third overall position and the second of his class because of a crash in the last lap. In the end, he finished third in the 250 4T class, conquering the top five Overall. Positive performance for the Finnish Rony Kytonen: he had more and more feeling with his Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro, finishing seventh among the foreigners and 15th Overall. The next races for the team are the GP of Slovakia on 28-31 July and the GP of Hungary on 5-7 August. The last round of the Enduro Italian Championship is scheduled on 1-2 October in Castiglion Fiorentino.
Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team is pleased to announce that Thomas Oldrati will be part of the Italian Team for the next Six Days, scheduled in Le Puy en Velay, France, from 29 August to 3 September. The other two Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team riders will also defend the colors of their national teams: Nathan Watson in Great Britain’s World Trophy team, and Roni Kytonen in Finland’s Junior Trophy.

Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team sul podio dell’Assoluta con Nathan Watson
Un’altra emozionante domenica per Honda RedMoto World Enduro Team, grande protagonista del quinto round degli Assoluti d’Italia Enduro. La prova si è disputata a Ceva (CN) su un tracciato di 51 km da ripetere 4 volte articolato su 3 speciali: Cross Test di 4.5 km, Extreme Test di 2.5 km, poi CO1, per ripartire e andare ad affrontare l’Enduro Test 6.5 km.
Gara da protagonista per Nathan Watson, con un passo da martello. Il pilota inglese è stato magnifico, conquistato il secondo gradino del podio dell’Assoluta dietro solo a un imprendibile Verona e vincendo con imposizione la classe degli stranieri. Tra i migliori per tutta la giornata, Thomas Oldrati si è visto soffiare via la terza posizione assoluta e la seconda di classe per una caduta nell’ultimo giro. Il pilota delle Fiamme Oro ha infine chiuso terzo nella 250 4T, centrando la top five dell’Assoluta. Positiva prova anche per il finlandese Rony Kytonen che, sempre più a suo agio con la Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro, ha chiuso settimo tra gli stranieri e 15° nell’Assoluta.
Il prossimo impegno per la squadra è la doppia trasferta Mondiale in Slovacchia il 28-31 luglio e Ungheria il 5-7 agosto. L’ultimo round degli Assoluti d’Italia sarà invece l’1 e 2 ottobre a Castiglion Fiorentino (AR). Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team è inoltre lieto di ufficializzare la convocazione di Thomas Oldrati a indossare la Maglia Azzurra alla prossima Sei Giorni, in programma a Le Puy en Velay, Francia, dal 29 agosto a 3 settembre. Anche gli altri due piloti Honda Racing RedMoto World Enduro Team difenderanno i colori delle proprie nazionali: Nathan Watson nella squadra del Word Trophy della Gran Bretagna, mentre Roni
Kytonen nello Junior Trophy della Finlandia.
