Honda RedMoto Racing opens the season with hat-trick podiums. Two amazing victories and one 6th and 7th overall position for Thomas Oldrati (Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro) in the 250 4-stroke class. In the Junior class, great double-win for the new-entry Manolo Morettini (Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro), who dominated both days of competition. On Sunday, 4th position for Nathan Watson (Honda-RedMoto CRF 450RX Enduro) in the foreigner classification.
Thomas Oldrati | 250 4T class – Day1 > 1° | Day2 > 1°
“It’s been two good days. The bike has improved a lot on this type of terrain. We still have to work on a few details, but we had a good beginning of season. Thanks to the whole team”.
Nathan Watson | Foreigner class – Day1 > 9° | Day2 > 4°
“First race of the season: there is always a lot of tension and stress. On Saturday I struggled more, while on Sunday we made some small changes to the bike and I felt better”.
Roni Kytonen | Junior class – Day1 > 1° | Day2 > 1°
“Positive weekend. I’m happy with the work done with the team. Let’s continue with the same concentration in next races”.
In the second line-up two podiums for Samuele Bernardini (Honda-RedMoto CRF 300RX Enduro), twice third in the 450 class.
Among the foreigners, fifth position on Sunday for Roni Kytonen (Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro). Great start for Francesca Nocera, who won the women’s class on Saturday at the end of a wonderful challenge with the 2022 World Champion Jane Daniels, while on Sunday she missed the success in the very last special.
Samuele Bernardini | 450 class – Day1 > 3° | Day2 > 3°
“I could have done better. Unfortunately, a few too many crashes on both Saturday and Sunday did not allow me to get the result I wanted. I lost many seconds, but this was the first race after a long time. We can improve from here”.
Roni Kytonen | Foreigner class – Day1 > 8° | Day2 > 5°
“It was a positive race. On Saturday I started with a good pace and Sunday was even better from the first lap. We did a good job in view of the World Championship, improving a lot compared to last year”.
Francesca Nocera | Women class – Day1 > 1° | Day2 > 2°
“Good weekend. The work done this winter has paid off. On Saturday I won, while Sunday I lost right at the last special test. The vibes are good: it’s an important experience for the World Championship”.
