San Martino sulla Marrucina. Third round of the Enduro Italian Championship. A one-day race started on Saturday evening with the SuperTest, while Sunday saw riders face 49 km course with four special tests to be repeated four times: Extreme Test of 2 km, two Cross Tests of 2.5 km and 4 km, Enduro Test of 5 km.

Solid performance for Thomas Oldrati (Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro) in the 250 4T class, ruling all the race in a fierce challenge against Pavoni. He claimed a great victory, with an advantage of over a minute and almost five on the third classified, finishing third Overall behind only the English Holcombe and Verona.

Fifth victory out of five days of competition for Manolo Morettini (Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro), who strength his leadership in the Junior class with 100 points.
Tough test for Nathan Watson (Honda-RedMoto CRF 450RX Enduro) because of a couple of crashes in the Extreme Test. He finished eighth in the foreign classification.

Thomas Oldrati | 250 4T class > 1°

“Beautiful day, I’m very happy. I liked a lot all special tests: I started with a few seconds gap, but then I recovered and finished third overall. Thanks to the whole team for the great job”.

Nathan Watson | Foreigner class > 8°

“I crashed twice in the Extreme Test, in the first and in the second lap. In the last crash I had problem with the front disc, finishing the lap without the front brake. Too bad, as I lost a lot of time. I managed to set good time laps in the last lap”.

Manolo Morettini | Junior class > 1°

“Good day with good time laps. Let’s go back home with a win and the 16th Overall. We continue to work in view of the next World Championship round in Spain”.

In the second line-up, a great Francesca Nocera won the women’s class. Another excellent performance for Samuele Bernardini (Honda-RedMoto CRF 300RX Enduro), always in the top three. Unlucky day for Roni Kytonen (Honda-RedMoto CRF 250RX Enduro): the Finnish was forced to retire at the end of the third lap following a crash in which he suffered a suspected fracture of the right shoulder. Tests will follow on his return.

Samuele Bernardini | 450 class > 2°

“Wet race with tough special tests. I raced better than I thought. Too bad for the Overall, because I could finish 7th if it weren’t for a fall in the Cross Test during the 3rd lap”.

Roni Kytonen | Foreigner class > nc

“Unfortunately, I had a bad crash in the third Enduro Test, hitting hard my right shoulder. It’s a shame. I’ll have some tests tomorrow”.

Francesca Nocera | Women class > 1°

“Solid victory. The special tests were nice and tough. Another good training in view of the next World Championship round”.
