Last race weekend for Honda RedMoto World Enduro Team with the Enduro Italian Championship, as the season finale was raced in Darfo Boario Terme, near Brescia. The sixth round of the season, organised by the Moto Club Sebino, featured an Enduro Sprint format with a route of about 30 km to be repeated five times on Saturday and four on Sunday: five different special tests plus the Supertest held on Friday.

A weekend of satisfaction and great results for the team led by Matteo Boffelli, who took three Italian titles, a silver medal and a bronze.

Amazing Thomas Oldrati, who already on Saturday conquered the 250 4T title, the 13th of his career. He ruled the category for the whole season and the victory on the first race day was not enough: he won on Sunday too, getting another incredible double victory.

In the Junior category title for Manolo Morettini, who, thanks to a double second took his 3rd Italian title after the one in 2017 (Cadet Valenti 50cc) and 2018 (Cadet 125 KTM).

A third and a second position for Nathan Watson in the classification reserved for foreigners. The English rider finished the Italian season in P3 with 133 points, 10 behind MacDonald and 50 behind Holcombe.

Thomas Oldrati | 250 4T class > 1° – 1°

“12 wins and the title. A season to remember. I’m very happy with this result. I was sceptical about the race, but I enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone for helping me to achieve this goal”.

Nathan Watson | Foreigner class > 3° – 2°

“Strange and very intense race with little transfer and a lot of small tests. Yesterday I struggled a bit in the morning, while today I set good times. It has been a good training for the last two races in Portugal. Thank you to the team for the all the hard work”.

Manolo Morettini | Junior class > 2° – 2°

“It was a nice and intense weekend that ended with the title. It was a more than positive debut with the team: without them I wouldn’t have made it. Thanks to everyone who supported me”.

In the second line-up Francesca Nocera won the women’s class, while Samuele Bernardini took the silver medal in the 450 4T class with two second places behind only an uncatchable Verona. An 8th and 7th place for Rony Kytonen on his return to racing after the injury to his right hand operated in July.

Samuele Bernardini | 450 class > 2° – 2°

“Not one of my favourite races, but it went good. We have worked well this year and we have made good progress”.

Roni Kytonen  | Foreigner class > 8° – 7°

“Nice to come back racing again. I’m happy to be able to push again even if I’m not at my best level. Getting ready for the last two GPs”.

Francesca Nocera | Women class > 1°

“Two good days of racing even though I was not physically fit. I fell in a few specials, but managed to maintain a good pace. I’m happy with the title, but I’m already thinking to take the medal in the World Championship”.
